Starlit Skies History

When I first started making Jewelry I was shy and not as confident as I am now so I called the business Caitlin's Crystal's and Creation's which was my name in the SCA, a medival group we were involved in at the time. I created my first catalogue on the Macintosh in 1988. However in 1990 when I started doing Renaissance Festivals I used the name STARLIT SKIES.

The name Starlit Skies came to me one day when I was doing a big drawing of a celestial sky, spending hours and hours drawing the little stars that represented the universe. I was 21 and was seriously in the manifestation mode for an opportunity in College. As if in a trance I pulled away from the large drawing engulfed in the Starlit Skies and I wrote the words on my wooden drawing board, using letters that were beneficial in numerology for business. I stated clearly in that moment that some day I would own a business and I would call it STARLIT SKIES.

Starlit Skies has been involved in Renaissance festivals since 1990 where we first began our history with Ren Faires at Scarborough Faire Renaissance Festival.

Our booth was built in Arizona at the Arizona Renaissance Festival in 1991.

We began our Journey at the Colorado Renaissance Festival in 1993.

We did attend the Texas Renaissance Festival for 4 years in the early 90's.

In 1994 we began doing King Richards Faire, in Massachusetts during the Fall season and have been there ever since.

Our simple MOTTO is:

We add the Twinkling Touch.

Our goal is to serve, give, and be present for our customers. We want to help via our creations with Stone energies,  Color therapy, or just the fact that it makes someone feel good, feel more beautiful. Our practice is to love our creations, and to be considerate of that love, the giving and sharing when we deal with our customers. While making jewelry we are mindful of the energy that we have around us, what we talk about, what we listen to or watch while we make the jewelry...for it is our loving intention that is felt when you walk into our shop, or hold our jewelry. Our Creations are our babies, and you adopt them.
