Starlit Skies has been involved with Renaissance Festivals selling our Original Jewelry Designs and Sun Catchers, for over 18 years, since 1990.

We first began our adventure with  Scarborough Faire Renaissance Festival where we own a booth inWaxahachie Tx, south of the Dallas Fort worth area, which is open 8 weeks in April and May. This is our Home show, and luckily it keeps us near our family, and in the area we grew up in. This is a magical faire with a stream running along side the faire, and 100 year old Pecan Trees.  This show is very special indeed in the Spring and was our first Renaissance Festival ever.

We built our booth in Arizona at the Arizona Renaissance Festival in 1991, which is located in Apache Junction Az. east of the Phoenix area. The Superstition Mountains create a fantastic backdrop for this show which is in February and March, and the Desert is amazing in early spring.

We began our Journey in Colorado, building a booth at the Wonderful Colorado Renaissance Festival in 1993, which is a superb place to be in the summer, south of Denver, in a little town called Larkspur. This show runs for 8 weekends also in June and July.

We did attend the Texas Renaissance Festival near Houston, for 4 years in the early 90's. However due to the south Texas Ragweed, which made us sneeze non-stop, we asked to be guided elsewhere.

In 1994 we began doing King Richards Faire, in Massachusetts during the Fall season and have been there ever since. This show is south of Boston, outside Plymouth, just north of the Cape Cod Canal, and is Beautiful in the Fall. We are next to all the Cranberry bogs, and what a site to see during Harvest time, in September and October.
Announcing: 2009 will be our last year at King Richards Faire.

The first weekend in November every year Cynthia does a little Art show at a Renaissance Festival in Young Park in Las Cruces New Mexico, sponsored by the Dona Ana Arts Council. There we paint Henna which gives Cynthia a chance to use her drawing skills. For some pictures of this years Little festival visit CrucesLive.com .

"I spend 8 months a year at Ren Fests, with people I call family, and it is when I am home during off season that I miss them the most, and realize how fortunate I am to have them. This Fall/Winter I have enjoyed my time dancing through the Forums, reading Threads about people who love the life I live. It comforted me, warmed my heart,  and made me feel not so home sick for the Fairs. Thanks John for having this Forum & Website! GOOD JOB!!!!" ~Cynthia
